Must Have Skills-Weapon Handling
Too often, we are only concerned with the loud noises part of shooting.
What happens before, and after is also important.
In fields such as medicine, aviation, engineering, construction and cooking, we humans have developed systems to get a good result.
We want to win in violence, or avoid it. Let's train accordingly.
I appreciate you.

Snubby Revolvers, Any Good?
Переглядів 7 тис.День тому
Snubnose Revolvers can be a very good tool, provided you do your part to train and gain proficiency with them. By and large, I'd say they are not for a new shooter and even some intermediate level shooters. They are unforgiving with grip and trigger deficiencies . My suggestion is to learn to shoot full sized handguns well, including a sound grip and trigger press. It's not that a newer or less...

Balance-Train it often

Balance isn't just an overused word. Something as simple as standing on one foot can challenge your balance. Our ability to move and stay on our feet is huge not just in fitness and health but also in violence. Come train takedowns with us if you disagree. Do you train balance?

I think (who gives a f what I think😂) everyone has something they can teach. I learn something from this channel, I can teach that to someone else. If you, this channel, did something incorrectly, the person this video is directed at should point that specific thing out. To say you can't teach something because you don't have a specific set of credentials is asinine. But, we should always constantly scrutinize the information we learn online or anywhere else. I've learned things from this channel and I'm thankful for it.

No. That does not sound stupid. YOU sound like a moron mocking people's God given rights. Should they be smart about it if they want to carry concealed? Yes. Is it something that you have any business mocking if they want to walk around like that? Absolutely not. Our tyrannical government and its boot lickers who want to donate other people's freedom for their little virtue signaling fantasy have no authority over "inalienable, God given rights." End of discussion.

Was an RO for many years. Police who came out to compete were ALWAYS bottom shooters. Every event, for decade. Most military too. Only Swat and SF guys had any skills.

  • @number4777.

LOL 98% of police cannot shoot for SHT!!! Fact, not an insult. The absolute greater majority don’ train often and many don’t have enough money to train if they wanted. Most average foot soldiers and LEOs are NOT experts with firearms. The top 10 shooters I know, none are cops. Again, 98% of cops cannot preform transitions, tactical reloads reloads proficiently or punch the x out unless 3 fr from target.

I've heard conflicting reports from different people, all who seem like they know what they're talking about. My problem is with the blue loctite on the gas port screws. Looking at the technical data sheet on blue loctite, it says it's only good up to 300°F. Now I'm not saying this guy doesn't know what he's talking about, he's build way more rifles than me, but I've heard from other gunsmiths (thinking of School of the american rifle) to skip the blue, reliquifies at gas block temps, use rocksett because it's good up to 2000°F. Anyone who really knows what they're talking about, what am I missing? How does 300° blue make sense on one of the hottest parts of a rifle? I'm looking to learn

Out of all of your videos that I watched, the one that made most impact on me where you explained why you started teaching in the first place. I hope it’s still real for you today, as it was years ago. Doing nothing teaches people to do nothing. I can defend myself because of people like you. In our free country everyone can say anything they want, but matters more what we say to ourselves.
